Angela is a Founder Member and Volunteer of EASE. She runs the Pet Bereavement Support Service; school visits (workshops for young school-children on the importance of being kind to animals); assisting with writing our educational material; and, when time allows, assisting with fund-raising.
Angela also runs a consultancy called remedies4pets, which offers Flower Essence Therapy for Animals alongside simple training and behaviour tips to help people with their pets. For more information visit: www.remedies4pets.co.uk. Angela has also written an ebook entitled Bobby's Tale, which portrays the story of a small terrier called Bobby, who was rescued and rehomed by the RSPCA. Maintaining a positive and sometimes amusing tone throughout, Bobbys Tale will be enjoyed by doglovers of all ages. Angela has interwoven throughout Bobbys Tale the canine view on life, subtly emphasizing to the reader what is important in a dogs world and how it can be happily integrated within a human family, despite the difficulties than can occur particularly with rescue dogs. Bobbys Tale is available on www.think2create.com on the ebooks page.
Angela has this to say about EASE: "I have held a great concern about animal welfare issues since childhood when I became aware of animal suffering in the world and, like others, I passionately wish to play my part, however small, in helping to make things right. As I felt very akin to the aims and vision of EASE, I was delighted when Mel asked whether I would like to run the pet bereavement support service through EASE. Being a member of the EASE team has become a valued part of my life as together we grow and develop existing and new projects that help strengthen the timeless relationship between people and their pets."
